Find where AI fits before you spend time and money implementing it.
You know AI could probably help. The harder part is knowing where it would genuinely improve the work, where the risks are, what should stay human and what is better left alone.
There are two ways to get a clear answer. The AI Fit examines workflows and identifies what, if anything, is worth changing. The Sense Check works through a specific AI question, assumption or decision.
You may be here because
- You want to know where AI is worth using before you buy tools.
- A workflow is slow, repetitive or producing inconsistent results.
- You need to decide what should stay human.
- You want the opportunity and the risks considered together.
- People are already experimenting with AI without a shared approach.

- A written summary and next steps

What the advice is built on
The work before the tools
The review starts with how the work actually happens. Tools come later, if the evidence supports them.
The people doing the work
Workarounds, judgement calls and difficult handovers rarely appear in a process document. Sparrow hears directly from the people who deal with them.
No implementation sale
Sparrow does not implement, resell or configure AI tools, and takes no referral fees. Nothing about the recommendation depends on what you do next.
The AI Fit in detail
The AI Fit examines up to three workflows as they actually run, with input from you and the people doing the work.
Your review includes:
- A written assessment of each workflow
- Opportunities and recommendations in order of importance
- The risks and safeguards to address
- Where to begin
- A debrief call to work through the findings
The answer may be AI, automation, a simpler process or no change at all. The point of the review is knowing which.
For each workflow, the review considers:
- How the work currently happens
- Where time, effort or information is being lost
- Where AI or simpler automation may help
- What should stay human, and why
- What needs to be addressed before implementation
- Where no change may be the better answer
The review examines up to three workflows. Additional workflows can be scoped and priced separately. A workflow might be the way the organisation handles enquiries, prepares proposals or applications, produces a recurring report, manages documents or completes a repeated administrative task.
It considers both the formal process and the real one: the workarounds, judgement calls, handovers and gaps known by the people who do the work. The aim is to distinguish worthwhile AI or automation from changes that add cost, complexity or risk without solving the underlying problem.
Whether AI can do something is only one part of the decision.
The purpose, information involved, people affected and possible consequences all matter. The review considers governance, privacy, data protection, security, human oversight and responsibility in a way that matches the level of risk.
Sparrow does not use AI to rank or compare people, recommend who should be replaced or design work around workforce reduction.
The AI Fit is not specialist legal, privacy or cyber security advice. If that expertise is needed, the review will identify the boundary before you proceed.

Questions about The AI Fit
No. Start with what feels slow, repetitive, inconsistent or risky. The intro call is where we work out which one to three workflows are worth examining.
No. It is a workflow review. It identifies relevant risks, governance questions and areas where specialist legal, privacy, data or cyber security advice may be required.
That is a legitimate and useful outcome. Sometimes a simpler process change achieves more, and sometimes no change is the better answer. Knowing which is the point of the review.
No. Sparrow provides the review, reasoning and recommendations. You decide what to act on, when to act and who should be involved.
If potential providers or tools are mentioned, they are examples for you to investigate. Sparrow does not receive referral fees or commissions.
Sparrow speaks with you and the people who carry out the workflows being reviewed. In a smaller organisation, that may be the same person. The documented process and the real one are rarely identical, and the difference is often where the opportunity or risk sits. Who is involved is agreed with you before the review begins.
Only information relevant to the agreed workflows. What is needed depends on the question and is confirmed before the work begins.
Sparrow does not need direct access to live systems or bulk extracts of personal records.
Timing depends on the workflows included, the availability of the people involved and the information needed. You receive a proposed timetable before booking.
When you have one specific AI question, assumption or decision rather than a set of workflows to examine. It is a focused conversation with a written summary, not a review.
